MAV Transport Position Paper (Nov 2008)
The MAV Transport Position Paper (TPP) has been developed in consultation with Victoria's 79 councils and outlines the key areas of importance to local government. A series of strategic objectives, endorsed through the MAV State Council process, provide the foundation of the paper. The paper will guide the MAV's response to and advocacy on transport issues at the state and federal levels of government. The TPP is a working paper which will continue evolving as circumstances and government policies change. As such, the MAV will continue inviting council comments and suggestions to ensure the TPP reflects council views.
