MAV Insurance Overview

MAV Insurance operates a group insurance model whereby councils and other local authorities in Victoria and Tasmania effectively insure each other against public liability, professional indemnity and fidelity (employee/contractor fraud).

The MAV is committed to providing to its members leading edge insurance solutions that provide maximum protection over the assets of its members at reasonable cost.

Our success is mainly due to the schemes being totally owned and controlled by local authorities to the benefit of the groups we represent with contributions (premiums) being kept as low as possible.
