PLVN Libmark Seminar

Extreme makeover: challenging our marketing mindset

Renowned marketing consultant Fiona Emberton will engage library staff in an informed presentation on industry trends, looking specifically at our interaction with customers, the way we present our spaces and the way we present ourselves.

This exciting seminar will commence with a presentation of the service excellence framework Being the best we can.  This will be followed by an introduction to Dollars, sense and public libraries, a significant landmark study of the  social-economic value of Victorian public libraries.

We will also be joined by Megan Rogers, marketing manager for the State Library of Victoria, who will share the considerable success the State Library has had in transforming its online and social networking presence.

Makeovers transform the way people see us and the way we see ourselves. Extreme makeovers are deep transformations that go beyond the usual or expected. Join us for an inspiring seminar that is guaranteed to challenge your thinking and to inspire improved marketing at your library service.
