Rebooting Democracy National Tour
Cormac Russell, author, social explorer and Director of Asset-Based Community Development in Europe and USA, brings experience of working at all levels of local government in 35 countries over the last 21 years, to this most vexing of questions: how can we reboot democracy? In November and December 2017, Mr Russell toured the country discussing that question.

Hacktivation: Transforming Local Government in the Innovation Era
This two-day innovation conference in March 2017 was made up of lead case studies for big change innovation and community first Australian councils and a series of interactive workshops on innovation modelling process, and real life council transformation challenges. Other featured workshops included; PechaKucha and GovHACK, and workshops on council transformation challenges, journey mapping, and national local government innovations awards.
