MAV Procurement & Contract Management Excellence Series 2019
Update your local government procurement skills and knowledge with MAV’s Procurement & Contract Management Excellence Series 2019. This training series has been designed specifically for local government staff with contract management and procurement functions. Our program is targeted at both introductory and more advanced competency levels so this series will provide you with the most up-to-date knowledge and understanding of procurement within the local government sector.
The Contract Management Excellence Series sees the introduction of three new courses. These courses have been developed and added due to sector demand and will provide local government procurement staff with relevant up-to-date training in line with what is currently being asked of procurement teams across Victoria. These courses are:
- Social Procurement
- Collaborative Procurement
- Introduction to Category Strategies.
These new courses are being offered alongside our popular courses:
- Specification to Evaluation
- Contract Management.
If you are interested in hosting this training at your own council and at your own convenience, please contact MAV Procurement at email@example.com.
This course is designed to examine and address administration of these contracts in a local government environment and to provide better understanding under local government conditions.
We will examine the different contracts available under the AS 4000 and AS 4124 series to enable attendees to select the correct form of contract. We will then examine key aspects of the contracts, their structure, use, administration, areas of caution and work through activities and examples in a workshop format.
At the end of the course attendees will be able to select the best type of contract to meet their needs, will understand the risks associated with the contract form and how to administer it under local government conditions.
