The 2010 LGTS Conference:
12 - 13 August 2010 Sofitel Melbourne On Collins
Navigating the Path of Change
The role of IT in local government is changing. It is no longer restricted to the technical jargons but a part of the whole-of-council operation.
In its fifth year, the Local Government Technology Solutions Conference will identify ways to tackle these changes and inspire IT professionals and senior decision makers to embrace the energy and progress as a sector renewing, reforming and learning from one another.
The conference provides challenging keynote presentations and interactive opportunities for delegates to stretch their minds and ideas to benefit their communities and organisations far beyond the conference.
Key themes will focus on leadership, the role of IT and responding to change.
A cocktail function, presenting the third annual LG ICT Awards, will be held at the conclusion of day one, providing an exceptional networking environment for delegates.

First held in 2006, the Local Government Technology Solutions Conference has quickly become the outstanding ICT event for local government in Australia.
Under the auspice of the Local Government Information, Communications and Technology Committee, the conference seeks to demonstrate latest thinking and future directions for local government Information and Communications Technology.
Targeting local government CEOs, executive management, directors, senior managers, chief information officers and sector IT professionals, over 160 guests are expected to attend the two-day event.
The 2010 LGTS Conference provides a unique opportunity to:
