Share your views: Melbourne I Dream Forum (10 Nov)

10/11/2011
As the Victorian Government embarks on its preparation of a new metropolitan strategy, the Melbourne I Dream forum provides a timely opportunity for passionate Melbournians to participate in a discussion about the future vision for our city.

Cr Bill McArthur, Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) President said the forum was for anyone who loves our metropolis and wants to see Melbourne grow into a healthy, beautiful and functional future city.

“The forum will be attended by local and state government urban and social planners, designers, architects, engineers, councillors and is also open to members of the general public.

“This event continues our engagement with the local government sector about metropolitan planning issues.

“Melbourne I Dream provides a forum for discussion and to stimulate thinking about the future of Melbourne, which will assist in shaping our contribution to metropolitan planning.

“We also want attendees to voice their vision for a contemporary and inspiring city so that future planning decisions can help to maintain our ranking as the world’s most liveable city,” he said.
