​The MAV Audit Committee is an advisory committee to the MAV Board and assists it in maintaining its governance framework by reviewing financial and risk controls, including internal and external audit reports, monitoring organisational performance and corporate governance generally.

The MAV encourages any person with Audit Committee experience; finance and accounting skills; and knowledge of insurance, risk management or local government, to forward an expression of interest together with a CV and a summary of relevant experience to Alison Lyon, by 24 January 2012. Interviews will take place the week commencing 30 January.
