The forum featured passionate pecha kucha-style presentations on housing, sustainable urban form, public transport, food production, freight and logistics, public open space and economic development, which stimulated robust discussion and thinking about the future of Melbourne.
The Melbourne I Dream Forum was a timely opportunity for over 200 community members, elected representatives and officers from local and state government to hear and discuss future visions and challenges for our city as the Victorian Government embarks on its preparation of a new metropolitan strategy.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we will continue to deliver similar events as part of our engagement with the local government sector about metropolitan planning issues.
