Research

We know that violence against women is prevalent, serious and preventable.

VicHealth has undertaken internationally renowned research in the area of preventing violence against women, including development of a framework for action. This has guided much of the work happening in local councils across Australia.

The Australian Domestic & Family Violence Clearinghouse is a comprehensive database of research, publications and resources.

The Australian Centre for the Study of Sexual Assault also provides a comprehensive promising practice programs and responses database.
