Community group insurance

MAV Insurance recognises the significant contributions that community groups and clubs make to life in Victorian municipalities.

MAV Insurance does not provide insurance for community groups and non-profit entities. For community groups and clubs seeking insurance coverage, we are pleased to support the work of Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS).

LCIS is a separate entity from MAV Insurance and provides affordable insurance protection to not-for-profit clubs and community groups.

Cover through LCIS is available to groups that:

  • provide services to the broader community
  • have an annual turnover or funding of less than $5 million
  • consist mainly of volunteers
  • don’t distribute profits to members.
