MAV Procurement is the not-for-profit arm of the Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV), dedicated to delivering better procurement outcomes for Victorian councils and associate members.

By leveraging the collective purchasing power of the local government sector, we help councils and associate members achieve greater value, reduce procurement costs, streamline procurement processes and access high quality best-fit goods and services.

Beyond our procurement arrangements, we work alongside councils to address emerging challenges and opportunities through supplier innovation, sector advocacy, capability-building programs, training, benchmarking and collaborative networks. We bring the procurement community together to share knowledge, build capability, foster innovation and deliver sustainable outcomes for councils and the communities they serve.

As part of MAV, every dollar invested in MAV Procurement is reinvested back into supporting Victorian local government, strengthening sector capability, and delivering initiatives that benefit councils, associate members and the communities they serve.
