The MAV events team manages up to 150 events for councillors and council officers across Victoria each year, from in-house workshops to national conferences attracting specialist speakers on topics ranging from the latest in local government future, technology, innovation and more.

Make Good Happen (2025 Federal Election)

As the peak body for local government in Victoria, the MAV is giving voice to the needs and aspirations of communities across Victoria, and supporting Victorian councils to create cities, regions, towns and growing suburbs that are thriving, resilient and sustainable.
