MAV Advisory Panels

The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) is proud to announce the formation of 6 Advisory Panels aligned to key priority areas identified in the MAV Strategic Plan 2024–2027, Shaping Our Future.

These panels bring together councillors, sector leaders, academics and subject matter experts to provide strategic advice and insights across critical policy areas, including:

Each panel brings together accomplished individuals with significant expertise, leadership and insight, who make valuable contributions to the work of MAV and the broader local government sector.

The Advisory Panels help ensure MAV’s work is evidence-informed, reflects diverse perspectives and supports the shared vision for a strong, resilient, and future focused local government sector.

The work of MAV Advisory Panels assist in informing policy development, strengthening advocacy and identifying emerging issues impacting councils and communities across Victoria.
