Local councils across Victoria have long been experimenting and innovating with community engagement methods beyond the survey. Community engagement practitioners have been supporting councils to more deeply understand their communities and their complex and changing needs to help build stronger connections and empathy, create data-driven plans, policies and places as well as to build trust and demonstrate accountability. Join this event to explore two examples of local council innovation as they work with their local communities.
