Become a MAV Supplier

MAV Procurement contracts connect suppliers with Victorian councils and associate members through collaborative procurement arrangements designed to deliver value, efficiency and strong governance outcomes.

By becoming an appointed supplier on an MAV Procurement contract, your organisation can access opportunities across Victorian local government and associate members through a single procurement process.

Why Become a MAV Supplier?

Access Local Government Opportunities
MAV Procurement contracts are used by councils and associate members across Victoria to purchase goods, services and works through compliant procurement pathways.

One Tender, Many Opportunities
Rather than responding to multiple individual tenders, suppliers appointed to an MAV contract may be invited to participate in council and associate member quotation and sourcing activities throughout the contract term.

Demonstrate Credibility
Appointment to an MAV Procurement contract demonstrates that your organisation has successfully met the capability, compliance and evaluation requirements established through a competitive public tender process.

Build Relationships Across the Sector
MAV Procurement contracts create opportunities to engage with councils and associate members across metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria.

How Do I Become an MAV Supplier?

MAV Procurement contracts are established through public tender processes.

Suppliers can only become appointed suppliers when an open Request for Tender (RFT) is released for a relevant contract category.

Suppliers cannot be added to an existing contract outside of the tender process.

The process typically involves:

  1. MAV releases a public Request for Tender.
  2. Suppliers submit a tender response.
  3. Submissions are evaluated against the published criteria.
  4. Successful suppliers are appointed to the contract.
  5. Councils can then engage suppliers through the contract framework.
