Data Analytics & Benchmarking Program

Coming soon!

MAV Procurement is developing a sector-wide Procurement Analytics, Benchmarking & Insights Program to help councils better understand procurement performance, identify opportunities for improvement and learn from practices across local government.

Combining procurement data, benchmarking information and sector knowledge, the program will provide councils with access to meaningful insights that support evidence-based decision making, stronger governance and continuous improvement.

Designed with Councils
The program is being developed in collaboration with Victorian councils to ensure the analytics, benchmarking measures and resources reflect the real-world needs of local government procurement professionals.

By combining procurement data with sector knowledge and benchmarking information, councils will be able to gain a more complete picture of procurement performance, maturity and opportunities for improvement.

Looking Ahead

Pilot programs and working groups are currently helping shape the future of the platform. Following testing, feedback and refinement, the program will be progressively rolled out to councils across Victoria.

Further updates and opportunities to participate will be shared as development continues.
