VendorPanel - Supplier Guidance

Unimarket powered by VendorPanel

MAV Procurement panels connect suppliers with Victorian councils and associate members through efficient, compliant procurement pathways.

As an MAV panel supplier, there are strong opportunities to win work and grow your presence across the sector, with VendorPanel playing a key role in enabling these engagements.

Using VendorPanel

MAV Procurement uses a secure, cloud-based sourcing platform, VendorPanel, to support council procurement activities.

This platform enables councils and associate members to:

  • View MAV panel contracts and supporting documentation (including scope, recommendation reports and standing offer deeds)
  • Access supplier profiles, compliance documentation (e.g. insurances and executed agreements) and pricing
  • Raise, evaluate and award quotes online using the RFx wizard.

Set Yourself Up for Success as a Supplier!

1. Keep your VendorPanel profile current

Your VendorPanel profile is your showcase to councils.
Make sure it clearly reflects:

  • Your services and capabilities
  • Relevant experience
  • Service locations.

2. Add multiple users and plan your internal workflow

Every RFQ is a business opportunity, so it’s critical you don’t miss it.

  • Set up multiple users in VendorPanel
  • Include contacts across different teams, regions or business units
  • Ensure your profile clearly reflects branch locations and service coverage.

For larger organisations or those with multiple branches, it’s important to:

  • Demonstrate which parts of your business service specific regions or services
  • Establish a clear internal workflow for managing RFx’s
  • Ensure requests are routed quickly to the right person or team.

Having a structured approach will help you respond efficiently, avoid missed opportunities, and improve your success in winning work.

3. Keep compliance documents up to date

Ensure your:

  • Insurances and certificates
  • Licences and accreditations.

4. Respond to RFQs promptly

RFx’s are direct opportunities to win work.

  • Add noreply@vendorpanel.com.au to your safe sender list
  • Review requests promptly
  • Respond or decline, providing feedback where relevant.
