Awards Celebration

We see you shine!

In 2026 we will host the Award Celebration on the evening of Thursday 17 September at an exciting Melbourne venue, to be announced soon.

Building on the success of our 2025 event, the celebration will feature a high-energy, distinctive program that recognises the ingenuity and passion of Victorian local councils.

The cocktail, stand-up format, will continue, with a refined agenda that allows more time to showcase the stories of our finalists.

Finalists will receive first access to tickets, initially capped at three per finalist, with additional tickets to be released subject to availability.

Tickets on sale in August.

2025 Awards Celebration

On Wednesday 8 October, at Higher Ground Melbourne, 250 people convened for the 2025 MAVlab Innovation Awards Celebration and learnt about the best and brightest Victorian local council people, programs and projects.
